The body lines make for an odd two tone arrangement, almost looks like the doors should have some sort of logo or emblem in the middle.
Also, you can’t post ads of this era Charger without including this one with the lovely Jennifer O’Neil l.

I want one just so I can tell people I have a Dodge Charger Daytona and then see the look of disappointment on their face when they see it.

I strongly agree with that first part. Weren’t these huge engined yet gutless and slow with horrendous build quality?

The 318 V8 apparently put out 135 or 145HP depending on market. The 360 was 155-170HP. For some cars of the era that wouldn’t be too bad, but these were ~4000lbs cars with three speed automatics, so I really doubt anyone would describe them as zippy, and certainly not by modern standards.
Could be worse though, I’m pretty sure someone (AMC?) was making a sub-100HP V8 in roughly this period.

Yes. Parents traded a 68 Firebird for a 77 Córdoba (back then the firebird was just an old car)

Features include: unique exterior sheet metal, unique grille and tail lamps and Dodge nameplate on grille
...now, admittedly, I haven’t read the copy on all cars but it sounds like the writer as struggling to say anything good about the car...
